Posted August 10, 2019: BNA voted to support the proposed parking variance application for 1231 Booth Street. The space will be converted from a warehouse to a law firm, occupied by The Mabra Firm. The application will reduce the number of parking spaces from thirty-six to seven.  The applicant has arranged for overflow parking at the neighborhood church. 

Posted July 4, 2019: On May 21, 2019 the Blandtown community voted to adopt bylaws and establish the Blandtown Neighborhood Association. BNA voted five members into office to serve as its Board of Directors.

The community reviewed plans and asked questions about a new event space opening at 996 Huff Road.  



Posted June 10, 2019: The Goat Farm developers presented updated plans for the site on Foster Street. The new site plan was also revised to make it a more open and accessible streetscape. 


1351 Ellsworth Industrial applicants also presented their plans for an adult sports and entertainment facility called β€œThe Complex." 


The Bylaws were approved with an amendment.

Smyrna Ready Mix is still attempting to secure a special use permit to operate a concrete plant in Blandtown on Huber Street! SRM sued City Council, and parties were recently ordered to appear virtually before Fulton Superior's Judge Whitaker on November 18, 2020. Updates here.
